A guide to using our brand assets correctly

By using our brand assets you are agreeing to our Trademark Usage Guidelines and you understand that a violation of these guidelines will result in the termination of your license and/or permission to use our brand assets.

Primary logo

Guidelines for our Primary Logo and use cases

Optily Purple Logo in grey

Primary Logo

We use this logo on light backgrounds such as on white, grey or light teal.

Secondary Logo

We use this on dark backgrounds such as our purple or navy.

Black Optily Logo on White Background

Black Monotone Logo

Use these ONLY when our primary logos do not provide enough contrast or budgets do not allow for full color printing.

Purple Brandmark

Primary Brandmark

Our brandmark can be used in cases where Optily is known to the viewer, our logo is nearby or in cases where space is extremely limited. Our brandmark is also used as the favicon for our site.

White Brandmark

Our white brandmark is only used in the cases listed for the primary version with the added complication of a lack of contrast for the purple version.

CLEAR SPACE

Our logo works best when it has enough room to breathe.

The clear space required around the logo is shown above and represented by the letter 'X'. X= the height of the 'i' shape from the logo without the dot above.

The clear space around our brandmark is shown above. The center circle of the brandmark is used to determine the spacing where 'Y'=the radius of the center circle.

Minimum Size

Our logo works best when it has enough room to breathe.

The Optily Logo should not be smaller than 80px width in digital artwork.

Print

The Optily Logo should not be smaller than 28mm width in print artwork.

Don't stretch it

Hold down the shift key and drag the corners to re-size proportionately.

Don't Squish it

Remember the clearspace guidelines above. Hold down the shift key and drag the corners to re-size proportionately.

Don't rotate it

You see what we mean...

Use the correct contrast

There isn't enough contrast to see our logo here. Use a lighter background or switch to our secondary logo.

Don't edit it

The overlap pieces in blue are important. Don't recolor the logo or edit it in any way.

Don't use drop shadows or gradients

Our logo lies flat on the background. Please don't use dropshadows or gradients as shown above.
